Unravel the secrets of a mysterious dwelling.

Features:

- New quest with an interesting and dark backstory
- New place to live/store items that is functional and interesting

Conflict: It's been reported that "AltStartwithMQCutOff.esp" interferes with the starting quest of Markov Manor and may prevent it from working. If you are running the aforementioned mod and the quest doesn't begin when you sleep, try turning it off. If you still can't get the quest to start contact one of us and we'll give you a hand. Looks great so far! I especially like that there is no quest arrow telling me where to go. That was a complaint I had about the main game - always an arrow pointing you to your next objective. Too much hand-holding. Bravo, good sir.

A few users are asking for another place to download because savefile.com is giving them problems. I am uploading the file to RapidShare as I write this. The new links will be posted in the main topic/post when I am done.

Also, I have somewhat streamlined the unzip process by converging a few files. Nothing major, just made it so all files unzip rather than giving a user the choice of unzipping one or the other. The intent is to alleviate problems of people unzipping or installing incorrectly, and make it a little more user friendly. The README file has been updated to reflect this installation.

Careful bud, this isn't a ranger hideout Grin It is more of a necromancer type thing. It most definately has some DARK overtones. As for the ranger add-on mod, we are saving that for the BIG release of the DJ quest.

We're currently patching the downloads to v1.1. We should have the new version up in half an hour. I'm afraid we'll be removing the alchemy jars because of the confusion having two different .esp files has caused.

Version 1.1:
Changes:

-Fixed a bug that could allow the player to keep a quest reward indefinitely
-Fixed a bug where the player could trigger journal updates out of order
-Prevented the player from locking themself out of an area if they dropped an access item inside of it
-Added a message informing the player when a quest reward expires
-Alchemy Jars variant removed due to confusion with installation
-The .zip file size is down to 3mb+ from 18mb+


Valkyrie says people should be able to run the new version without causing any problems, but advises that you may want to get your items out of any containers you've put them in first just to be safe (namely in the Alchemy containers, nothing else should have changed).

If it were up to me I'd say remove the version without the jars. I mean, they're just a storage utility, they don't empower the character; they rae more for aesthetic and realistic ehnancement than anything else. Why would anyone not want them after all?

The file in .zip format is between 18-19mb with the jars.

It's just over 3mb without them.

You can see what made up our mind between the two. Wink

I might in the near future release a version of the mod with the jars again, however, at this time it is causing a lot of unneccessary problems. I for one though will be using the jarred version...

There are just a bunch of minor bugs, and the way the guy made the damn mod sucks IMO. He made it an ESM rather than an ESP, so it caused serious heartache for a LONG time.

This goes beyond file size. The mod is having several internal problems because of the jars, as well as installation issues.

We will keep you posted. We are trying to get the mod back up soon.
